Uncategorized After buying the new car, we went sightseeing in Seattle (not to mention shopping). We hit Pike Place Market; the Space Needle, & did a underground tour. On our way to San Francisco, we drove through a 2400 year old redwood tree. Tried to find Crater Lake. (its in the middle of no where) Tring not to tire (freak) out the cat we stopped for the night after 7 hrs each day of driving. San Fransisco was cold. We ended up buying jackets for our boat ride under the Golden Gate & Bay bridges & around Alcatraz. We saw many different things here; wax museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, Bay aquarium. It’s a very expensive city. Now we are in LA for more adventures.

Uncategorized It feels great & weird to be back in the US. We are back to blending in & not sticking out like sore thumbs. I flew commercial in order to bring the cat back. I was extremely nervous about traveling by myself (Mainly because of the cat). Actually it was pretty easy. I didn’t have any problems with customs, but I think that was because he is a cat. Dogs have alot more restrictions.
Louie actually did really well for a non-travelling cat. I didn’t even have to sedate him. He seems quite content that I was nearby. Now that we are in the hotel; he is most annoying wanting to be petted 24/7.

Uncategorized It’s that time again. One year older. When J teases me, I remind him I’m still younger than he is. We didn’t do anything to eventful since we were in the base hotel. I had already got my presents; a coach purse & wallet, a Japanese photo album, & a beautiful painting of me in front of a Shrine. I didn’t have time to get a picture before I had to hand it over to the movers. One was taken I’ll see if I can get my hands on it.

Uncategorized The movers got the last bit of stuff today & we moved into the base hotel. In a few days, we will be out of here. Just have to rap up a few small details.

Uncategorized Everything is falling into place with the move finally. Our new car (Mitsubishi Lancer) is on hold in Seattle. We are bringing the cat back. He’s going to just love the two week road trip!! We just couldn’t leave him behind. The movers will be here this week to pack up our stuff & bring us temporary furniture. Only little last minute things left to do to get ready for the movers. In less than two weeks we will be back in the US. I can’t wait!!
